- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon, ground
- 1/4 cup milk
- 4 slices bread
- butter, for cooking
- In a shallow dish, beat egg, vanilla and cinnamon.
- Add milk and mix again.
- Dip bread in egg mixture and coat evenly, turning so both sides are covered.
- In pan or skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Cook bread slices until browned on both sides.
- Add toppings of choice.
