Trikke Fitness Club is a three-wheeled self-propelled vehicle that is a fun and engaging way for students of all ages and skill levels to get cardio-respiratory, full-body exercise. With three points of contact on the ground, the Trikke provides a very stable platform for pavement-based propulsion that engages the entire body and mind. Students are trained by Certified Trikke Trainers who go over all rules and guidelines regarding safety and proper riding techniques so they can confidently ride the Trikke.  Students are required to wear a helmet (provided) for their safety and protection at all times. Trikke Fitness Club meets every Wednesday throughout the school year.

How did you accomplish your goals?

Our goal for Trikke Fitness Club was to find 20 dedicated riders. We not only found 20 participants but they have stayed committed all school year.

How do you plan to make this play last during the school year and beyond?

Trikke Fitness Club meets once a week, to keep students engaged and enthusiastic to learn more.

What improvements have you seen at your school?

Aspiring riders have expressed interest. Next year, we plan to have Trikke Fitness Club 3 times per week. One day per grade level.
