Established in 1981, the Nevada Dairy Farmer’s promotions committee provides for the promotion, consumer education and nutritional awareness of fresh, quality dairy products produced by Nevada dairy families.
The Nevada Dairy Farmers are guided by the principals that wholesome, quality, fresh dairy products contribute to good health and well-being. The organization continues to promote the nutritional benefits and affordability of naturally, nutrient-rich dairy products as a part of a healthy lifestyle for youth, families and adults.
The Nevada Dairy Farmers work in conjunction with the National Dairy Council. With a rich 100 year history, National Dairy Council was founded in 1915 by America’s dairy farmers to offer nutrition education and research.

Dairy Council of Nevada is a non-profit, nutrition education program supported by both Nevada and Arizona to promote achievement of optimal health for the community by providing nutrition education based on the latest scientific research and the concept of a balanced diet that includes milk and milk products.
