Strawberry Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast

Strawberry Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast
Ingredients
French Toast Batter
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup half and half
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 tbsp brown sugar (light or dark)
Strawberry Cream Cheese Filling
- 2 pounds cream cheese
- 16 oz container of sliced strawberries (thawed)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp vanilla
- 1 tsp red food coloring (optional for color)
Strawberry Sauce
- 1 pound container of frozen strawberries
- 2.5 tbsp powdered sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp red food coloring (optional for color)
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
French Toast Batter
- Break fresh eggs into a container.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix together with a wire whip.
Strawberry Cream Cheese Filling
- Place all ingredients in the mixer, and mix with a paddle until all ingredients are incorporated.
Strawberry Sauce
- In a stock pot place strawberries, powder sugar, vanilla, red food coloring and heat until it comes to a boil.
- In a measuring cup take cornstarch and dissolve it in a quarter cup of water.
- Next, slowly add mixture stirring often, bring to boil and let simmer for 2 minutes to cook out cornstarch.
