Golden Milk Latte
This turmeric packed warm milk beverage is full of health benefits and is the perfect warm-up beverage for a cold winter day.
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
- Pinch of black pepper
- Maple syrup or sweetener to taste
- Ground cinnamon, for topping
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine milk, turmeric powder, ground ginger, coconut oil and pepper.
- Heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture is warm but not boiling.
- Add maple syrup or sweetener of choice to taste.
- Poor into a mug.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Enjoy!
Notes
Try ghee in place of the coconut oil.
