Golden Milk Latte

This turmeric packed warm milk beverage is full of health benefits and is the perfect warm-up beverage for a cold winter day.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Maple syrup or sweetener to taste
  • Ground cinnamon, for topping

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, combine milk, turmeric powder, ground ginger, coconut oil and pepper.
  • Heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture is warm but not boiling.

  • Add maple syrup or sweetener of choice to taste.
  • Poor into a mug.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

Try ghee in place of the coconut oil.
