Its naturally-containing good-for-you bacteria promote gut health, it’s often a cool complement to spicy foods, and the varieties are endless.   • Lactose intolerance refers to the body’s inability to digest lactose, which is the natural sugar found in milk. A milk allergy is different – more here. If you experience lactose intolerance, you can still keep dairy in your diet (Personal Experience)!  Many dairy products are naturally low in lactose and easily tolerated – natural cheeses and fermented products like yogurt or kefir. There are also a variety of lactose-free options on the market.
