Italian Meatballs
Packed with flavor and tender throughout, these will be sure to put a smile on your whole family’s face for dinner.

Ingredients

Italian sausage, casings removed

onion, chopped finely

garlic, minced

eggs, beaten

freshly grated Parmesan

freshly chopped parsley

extra-virgin olive oil

marinara sauce
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine bread crumbs with milk. Let sit.
In a large bowl, use your hands to combine beef, pork, sausage, onion and garlic.
Season with salt, pepper and red pepper flakes.
Gently stir in bread crumb mixture, eggs, Parmesan and parsley until just combined.
Form mixture into about 1” balls.
In a large, high-sided, skillet over medium heat, heat oil.
Sear meatballs on all sides to develop a crust.
Set meatballs aside, reduce heat to medium-low, and add sauce to skillet.
Once the sauce is simmering, immediately add meatballs back to skillet.
Cover and simmer until cooked through, approximately 8 minutes.
Notes
Try baking the meatballs at 425 degrees on a greased baking sheet for 15-20 minutes for a different take on this.
