Bread Pudding
This recipe is perfect for breakfast or dessert, plus it is so delicious with the vanilla pudding sauce poured on top.

Ingredients
For bread pudding:

egg bread, cubed

cinnamon

baking sugar

milk

vanilla extract

raisins
For vanilla pudding sauce:
1
egg, beaten
1/4
cup
baking sugar
2
tsp
cornstarch
2 1/2
cups
milk
2
tsp
vanilla extract
Instructions
For the bread pudding:
Preheat oven to 350.
Grease baking dish.
Place cubed bread in a large bowl, sprinkle with cinnamon.
In a separate bowl, mix egg, sugar, milk and vanilla.
Pour over bread, sprinkle with raisins and stir gently.
Pour mixture into prepared pan.
Bake 45 minutes or until top is puffed and golden.
For vanilla pudding sauce:
In a medium saucepan, whisk egg, sugar and cornstarch together.
Whisk milk and vanilla in.
Cook over medium heat while stirring constantly.
The mixture is ready when it thickens and begins to bubble.
Can be served warm or cold.
Cut bread into squares and serve with vanilla pudding sauce.
Notes
Try adding caramel sauce or serving with coffee ice cream for an extra treat!
