Heat large pot over medium heat and add a little olive oil. Add the ground turkey and sausage, add salt & pepper, and cook through. Remove from pan and set aside.
In the same pan saute the yellow onion and garlic until onion is soft and translucent.
Add the marinara sauce and tomato paste and stir. Add the herbs: fresh parsley, oregano, and basil. As well as the red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.
Add the chicken broth, stirring to blend everything together.
Add the meat back into the pot and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, add the lasagna noodles and spinach. Cook until the noodles are al dente.
Serve in a bowl, topped with grated parmesan and cottage (or ricotta) cheese. Enjoy.
