Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and lightly flour a cake pan and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Stir gently to combine.
Add milk, butter, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture.
Beat with an electric mixer on low speed or use whisk to combine. Add the egg and beat for 2 minutes more.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a wooden toothpick comes out clean.
Cool the cake for 10 minutes. Remove the cake from the pan and serve with some sprinkled powdered sugar on top.
