So to set the record straight, we’re coming to you live from Sock Drawer Studios every week during Dairy Month with our Udder Nonsense segment.

Sometimes it’s necessary for dairy farmers to work with veterinarians to treat their cows with antibiotics when they’re ill. However, milk from cows treated with antibiotics is discarded until the cow is off antibiotics and the milk tests clean, to be sure it’s 100% antibiotic free. Some people think dairy farming isn’t a science, but truth be told, dairy farming is actually very scientific. From what the cows are fed to milk quality testing to sustainable water use, dairy farmers use a lot of scientific research and processes. You can even get a Bachelors of Science in Dairy!
Acne is something no one wants to deal with, but the truth is, there are no clinical trials or conclusive evidence linking milk to acne. There are many factors that can contribute to acne and those factors increase exponentially based on each individual person. The most important thing you can do for your skin is eat a healthy, nutrient-rich diet.
